KR Hospitality and Events originated from KR Travel, which was founded in 2009. The company started as an inbound agent for tour operators worldwide, and simultaneously developed MICE services to European and American companies. KR H&E reached its pinnacle during the Pyeongchang Winter Games 2018, where they established themselves as the main supplier of accommodation, hospitality and training venues to a wide range of clients.

Who are we?

KR H&E was founded by Don Roelofs, who brings in more than 20 years of experience in the MICE and Travel industry.  His sister Eunsun Kim is at the heart of the company and deals with financial and legal issues. Roelofs, who speaks five languages, was adopted from Korea and grew up in the Netherlands. His sister Kim stayed in Korea and the two grew up separately, only to be reunited at age 21. Together they are running a successful business for many years now.
